Do weight watchers say anything regarding the sugar (fructose) in fruit and ideal times to eat fruit? I am well aware weight loss is calories in vs calories out, always has been, always will be. Fructose can ONLY be processed by the liver and if the glycogen stores are full the liver will convert the fructose into fat. Personally I eat fruit before a workout for an energy boost as my body will burn the fructose during my workout and it won’t get turned to fat.
Your 11 points down today so I’m sure it won’t make a lot of difference! My point is backed up in my latest blog post!
Good luck on your journey, I’ll be keeping track! 🙂
Thanks for commenting! To my knowledge Weight Watchers does not address ideal times to eat fruit. With the new WW Points Plus system that was introduced a couple of years ago they did make the shift to encourage consumers to eat more whole foods, such as fruits and vegetables, versus processed foods, but I’m not aware of any suggestions from WW as to the ideal times to eat those foods.
Fruit is healthy, there is no doubt about that so definitely keep eating it 🙂 Was just curious as to how WW worked. Good luck!
